The Apple iPad has a 16G Hard Drive, 9.7 in. LED-Backlit display, Wi-Fi + 3G, Multitouch screen Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR Technology, valued at $667.75 with tax.

This fundraiser has been arranged in order to support a family in need.

Aileen Rodgers has been suffering with unexplained seizures and blackouts for more than a year.  Caring for her personally and advocating for proper treatment, Michael, a Correctional Officer at JSC, has not been able to work much lately.  On Thanksgiving Day, Aileen fell into a coma.  She is currently in ICU and on a ventilator.

The year of medical uncertainty has tapped this family emotionally and financially.  Several people have contributed to a recent effort to get the Rodgers’ family current on household bills and to provide for some basics most of us take for granted.  This support has made a huge difference to the family, especially in reducing the stress related to the risk of disconnecting utilities and home mortgage foreclosure.
